Great food great service! Loved sitting at the bar but also dining at a table. Love that it's close to my apartment and definitely a go to date night spot for sure!

Two words: pizza and meatballs Another terrific neighborhood hang with a couple different levels, which is fun. Family friendly, always cozy and the service rocks. Go early or during the week if you want to avoid a long a$$ wait. If you do want meatballs or meatball pizza, again, order it early because they only make so many meatballs per day and once they're out, they're OUT! Recommendations: Wood-Fired Garlic Bread, White Beans & Pesto, Neapolitan Meatballs, Panzanella Salad, Margherita, Soppressata Piccante and Neapolitan Meatball pizzas!

We are staying in Crown Heights for a month and Barboncino is so good, we went twice. It would be my regular spot if we lived here. The pizzas have been pretty perfect-nice balance of toppings and a tasty sauce. Love the white beans and pesto, the meatballs, and salads. We ordered for take out both times and on the second go around, our salad was left out of the bag. I ran back to grab it and the gal working the desk was so kind and apologetic. She took the salad off of our order AND the beans as a thank you/sorry! Super cute interior and love the outdoor patio--even though we didn't stay either time, I know I'd love it.

Pizzas and the meats on them had great flavors, I think the gripe like most people here is that we wish the pizza was a bit less soggy and maybe a little bit bigger. The meatballs were tasty and the sauce with them is pretty good for a pizza joint. The hot honey was a bit overpriced but a nice addition to the pizzas. Would likely order from here again.

We impulsively decided to dine at Barboncino for dinner for the first time on a Saturday after cocktails at Altar (an excellent cocktail bar, BTW). We'd been to Chavela's and Cent'Anni up Franklin Avenue, both of which we like, for dinner recently, and a new place appealed. Barboncino looks good from the sidewalk and the dining room is appealing and pleasant. Our food was very good to excellent. We ate a sopprassata pizza (very good), and anitpasto salad (excellent), and a side of giariniera. We find the prices fair. Our service was excellent. We'll go back. TIP walking distance to the Brooklyn Museum SHOUT OUT to Erica P for fantastic hospitality BONUS good value! TIP walking distance to the Crown Inn, another good cocktail bar, with a pleasant back yard

Guess who is feeling generous today? That is right. I figure considering I am no longer able to say I am in my early thirties in less than 24 hours, it is best to sacrifice one and call it good than be a Scrooge and find negativity in a restaurant where I really could not find any. Sure, the pizza is a little on the small side, but it is certainly one of the best Neapolitan style pizzas that I have had in Brooklyn. Move aside Saraghina. This pizzeria has one brunch pie that still has me salivating hours after eating it. It is the Panchetta, Egg, and Cheese pie. Offered only on the weekends, and for good reason. I asked my server to put it on the menu all the time and they refused because it is such a top seller. Nobody would be able to get in at anytime because of this pie. Everything about it is perfect. The salty meat, the silky egg, the sharp cheese. It is brunch on a pizza. Nothing more or less. You cannot make it any better than what is given here. The Margherita pizza is a good baseline. Tried and true, works well for anybody looking for a simple pie. Nothing overdone, good sauce flavor that is nice and red, and the slices hold their integrity quite well. If going with a group this is a great pie to get for those who like it easy. Speaking of pies and groups, you will need to order 2-3 pies to really enjoy the pizza here as the pies are a little on the smaller side. The customer service is friendly and cute. Our server was bubbly and friendly and cute (without the tattoos she would have looked much better), and everybody seems to be on their game. This is how a pizzeria should operate. I sadly could not get her name, but I will be back again so hopefully I will see her again. It is super close to the 2/3/4/5 lines, particularly the Franklin Ave/Medgar Evers college subway station. The proximity to Prospect Park helps too. Highly recommended.

I had friends with me who raved about their pizza so I was so excited to try the pizza. I liked the Arugula salad that came with a generous helping of pine nuts. However, the margarita pizza was underwhelming. I can't say enough positive things about the service, absolutely top notch. The place is noisy but I think given the location it's not a surprise . I'll go back just for the service.

Great pizza spot in Crown Heights! Visited with my friend who had been before and recommended it. We walked in on a Saturday evening around 7pm and waited a little less than a half hour for a table. There are two entrances, one for pickup orders which we accidentally went through first, so be sure to go through the other. Interior is rustic, think exposed brick and worn wood flooring, and has a relaxed atmosphere great for groups or one-on-ones. Service was a highlight thanks to our waitress who was sweet, funny, and attentive. The pizza pane arrived steaming and fresh, and paired well with the burrata. Neapolitan meatball pizza was done well with a charred but still soft on the inside crust. Tiramisu at the end was smooth and decadent. Plus three cocktails, this took us to about 130 total; not a small bill but considering how much we ordered and how pleasant the experience was I would consider it worth it.

Came to Barboncino with a group of 6 on a weeknight and had no problem getting a table (they don't accept reservations). Loved the ambiance inside and service was great too. We tried the margherita, sopressata piccante (with hot honey), arugula, and speck. My favorites were definitely the arugula and sopressata. It's worth adding the hot honey if you get the sopressata! I will say the speck didn't really do it for me. It was just lacking flavor and was a bit dry -- I'd skip it next time. Overall, good pizza though!!
